Carew Parish is a warm and welcoming community with unique qualities such as the Carew Castle and Mill. The Mill pond contains a species of rare worm and as a result carries a SSSI.

The parish is proud of its unique heritage and environment, particularly the river, wildlife and network of footpaths. It is a beautiful area, there is low crime and an excellent school, keen sports clubs and good active societies.

The areas of Carew Community Council encompass the villages of Carew Newton, Carew Cheriton, Carew, Sageston, Milton, Redberth, Whitehill and West Williamston.

Carew Community Council have responsibility for the play areas in Milton and Carew, the Milton Marsh Walk and Carew Newton Cemetery.

Defibrillators are located in the villages of Whitehill, Redberth, Carew Inn, Plough Inn Sageston, , Milton Brewery , Carew Sports Club and Carew Castle

Meetings are open to the public and are held from 7 pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Dates for the next scheduled meetings are: Wed 11th October, Wed 9th November, Wed 13th December . For 2024 they are - Wed 10th January, Wed 14th February, Wed 13th March, Wed 10th April, Wed 8th May, Wed 12th June.

The Community Council meetings are based on a set agenda. Additional details/items are published one week prior to the meeting.
