Merlins Bridge is a village situated on the boundary of Haverfordwest. It has many sporting venues - the Haverfordwest Rugby Club is situated on the Pembroke Road, along with the Merlins Bridge Football Club (youth) and the Merlins Bridge Boxing Club, which is situated on the Milford Road. The village has two play areas, one being on the old Hakin Road and the larger being in the centre of the village off the Pembroke Road. Both have good amenities for the local children to enjoy.

The local Village Hall** and playing fields are the hub of village activities. Many clubs / societies come and use the hall on a weekly basis. The village also has a Primary School, numerous outlets and shops, hairdressers, a Post Office, various religious buildings and one of the biggest creameries in Wales. We like to think our village is a thriving community within the county of Pembrokeshire.

The local Community Council normally meets every second Wednesday of the month, with the exception of July and August, when no meetings are held. Physical meetings will normally be held at the Pembrokeshire College at 18-30hrs, but will also have the facility for remote attendance on the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Online meetings are held using the Zoom videoconferencing platform. The venue for each meeting will be as advertised on the published agenda. As a member of the community you would be welcome to attend all meetings of the Community Council. Login details for all online meetings may be obtained from the Clerk. Minutes of all meetings are available to view and download from the documents tab opposite. Draft minutes of meetings are published within seven working days of the meeting date. The next regular monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th May 2024, commencing with the 2024 A.G.M. Approved minutes from the March 2024 monthly meeting are now available opposite. Draft minutes from the April 2024 monthly meeting (subject to formal approval) are also available opposite.
