Burton Community Council incorporates a vibrant mix of communities, including Hill Mountain, Houghton, Burton, Burton Ferry, Port Lion, and most of Sardis. The Community area includes areas within the stunningly beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, on its frontage along the Cleddau Estuary.
Unless otherwise advertised, meetings of the Community Council are held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of the month, apart from August, when no meeting is held. Unless otherwise indicated, the venue is the Jubilee Hall, Houghton SA73 1NP. Members of the public are welcome to attend, though cannot participate in the meeting for legal reasons. However, a ten minute public forum is a regular feature of the meeting agenda, providing opportunity for residents to raise matters of concern.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - DATE AND VENUE FOR OCTOBER 2019 MEETING. The October meeting will be held on Wednesday 9th October - one week later than normal. The venue will be the Mission Hall, Hill Mountain, rather than the Jubilee Hall, Houghton. The approved minutes from the July 2019 meeting are now available to view and download.
