Burton Community Council incorporates a vibrant mix of communities, including Hill Mountain, Houghton, Burton, Burton Ferry, Port Lion, and most of Sardis. The Community area includes areas within the stunningly beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, on its frontage along the Cleddau Estuary.
Unless otherwise advertised, meetings of the Community Council are held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of the month, apart from August, when no meeting is held. Unless otherwise indicated, the venue is the Jubilee Hall, Houghton SA73 1NP. Members of the public are welcome to attend, though cannot participate in the meeting for legal reasons. However, a ten minute public forum is a regular feature of the meeting agenda, providing opportunity for residents to raise matters of concern.
The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday 4th March 2020. The approved minutes from the January 2020 monthly meeting are now available to view and download.

C'llr Iain Wood. It is with great sadness that the Community Council informs residents of the loss of one of its valued Members, C'llr Iain Wood, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 29th January. The thoughts of all Members are with Iain's wife Pauline at this time.
